Plastic-Metals Technologies began operations in 2002 with the sole focus of delivering P-MT MicroShield Solutions. With years of vacuum metallization experience, the founders of P-MT developed Th!nFilm, which adds a special base layer to the metallization process.
Plastic-Metals Technologies is proud of the excellent customer service we bring to your product design and manufacturing teams. In addition to our extensive experience in the thin-film metallization and coatings field, we offer years of electronics industry product design, operations and manufacturing expertise. We also bring chemical and electronics engineering expertise to your project. You’ll find us a responsive and dedicated partner, and one that can further support your post-metallization needs.

Richard D. (Dick) Allen
President
|
Richard Allen co-founded Plastic-Metals Technologies, Inc. with Gerald Snell in 2002. He spent the prior eight years as general manager of Strategic Finishing, Inc., a Portland, Oregon-based specialty-finishing firm. Dick managed the day-to-day operations and also built the marketing and sales organization for the company. During this period he assisted in developing the thin-film deposition business and the specific markets for this process. Western Electronics, LLC acquired Strategic Finishing in 2000.
Dick earned his B.S. in business administration from Linfield College. Following graduation he held marketing and sales positions for several Fortune 500 companies, including Xerox and Eli Lilly. He also spent 10 years in the financial services industry, four of them with Alliance Capital, a major New York money manager.

Randall P. (Randy) Raugust
Vice President and General Manager
|
Randall Raugust joined Plastic-Metals Technologies, Inc. in June 2004. He has 25 years of experience in vacuum metallization processes, product manufacturing for test & measurement, and display and computer products. He has spent the last 11 years as part owner and engineering manager overseeing and developing the EMI thin-film deposition processes for Strategic Finishing, Inc. He has provided solutions for world-class companies such as Intel, Hewlett-Packard, InFocus Systems, Fujitsu and Tektronix Inc.
Randy earned a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Portland State University. Randy was a small business owner for Solar Systems as well as member of the Oregon Real Estate Association.

Jason Hennessy
Manufacturing Engineer
|
Prior to joining Plastic-Metals Technology in 2010, Jason was a long-time customer representing Trimble Navigation. As a manufacturing engineering at Trimble he was involved in product design, manufacturing and sustaining engineering. He was responsible for the development and manufacturing of ruggedized handheld computers. Prior to moving to Oregon, Jason worked at ADC Telecommunications in Minnesota where he was an injection molding manufacturing engineer.
Jason earned a B.S. in mechanical engineering at the University of Minnesota. He is a member of the Society of Plastic Engineers and the Society of the Plastics Industry.

Ann Lewis
Quality Manager
|
Ann Lewis, Quality Manager, joined Plastic-Metals Technologies in 2011. Her experience in quality assurance and quality engineering extends to the food and beverage industry, as well as laboratory and project management experience in the environmental field.
Ann studied at Trinity Western University, British Columbia, Canada where she earned a B.S. in Chemistry.

Stacy A. Lyman
Production Manager
|
Stacy earned her position as production manager, having worked her way up from the production floor. She started at Strategic Finishing in 1996 as a swing shift inspector. From there Stacy learned masking, ran the wash line and even the metallization machines. She become the lead inspector on the day shift and in 2001 was promoted to production supervisor after Western Electronics acquired Strategic Finishing. As production manager at Plastic-Metals Technology, Stacy supervises all phases of scheduling and production, as well as working closely with the quality department for ISO audits.
Stacy was raised in an Air Force family and has lived in five different states and also abroad in the Philippines. Oregon has been her home since 1995.
